Digital Writing Solutions

With the digital writing technology of the 4Digitalpen products family any existing form in your company can become a Digital Form.

How it works (paper)

Almost invisible, paper understands an intelligent pattern made by diverse black dots that confers the digital assignment
Dot pattern developed by a Swedish company I dots with approximately 0.1mm and 0.3mm between dots
This pattern allows pen to situated inside paper and is read by the digital pen
The pattern inserted in each paper has a unique identity.

How it works (pen)

With a digital camera that works in set with an advanced image processor (capable of take + 50 photos per minute)
Each photo have informations to determine the exact position of the pen and what was written or drawn, as well timings between usages
Wireless Communication port (Bluetooth)
All this information is stored in the pen memory, being possible to keep up to 50 written A4 leves

Ways of transfering information temporarily kept in the pen:

Bluetooth - After cheking the box in the leaf, this procedure is interpreted as a sending command being the information contained in the pen to be send by the phone bluetooth
USB - The pen transmits all the information for any computer

Technical solution

In the following design we will be able to analyze all the procedure of the Digital Form since the sending moment by the pen user, placing the pen in the USB support, automatically transferring the Digital Form to the application. PGC is a specific and encrypted data format of this technology. What is sent by the PGC only corresponds to the data that had been written by the digital pen user and not the Digital Form image.

In a few seconds the Digital Form will be available in the web application and/or in a predefined mailbox ready to be processed!

Information transmitted by the pen:

Localization (coordinates of each photo taken by the pen)
The exact moment when the information was written
Pen serial number
Form identification

4DigitalPen Plataform

The 4Digitalpen platform is an web application where are kept all digital forms, the data transference between the phone and our platform are made through GPRS.

This way forms and all contained information can be acceded by our clients through any web browser.
